We’ve known Darren since early 2016 when he was recommended by a friend. Our only regret is that we did not meet him sooner!

Since then, Darren has completed multiple projects for us. These include tiling, plastering, painting, electrics, and he replaced radiators and fitted our wooden flooring. He also did a complete re-fit of our bathroom, fitted bedroom, built in cupboard with sliding doors, constructed a large deck area, and installed a security camera system. Just last week Darren tiled our kitchen with beautiful glass tiles.

Darren is a very pleasant and reliable gentleman who conducts his business in a professional and ethical manner. He is a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Most importantly for us, is that he takes great pride in his work and has completed all tasks to a high standard – this is the reason why we have asked him back several times.

We have just had a new kitchen fitted by Darren and his team and received a first-class service.

Darren made the project very easy and stress free as he and his team carried out all the work from start to finish, gutting the old kitchen, tiling the floor, fitting new lighting, fitting the new kitchen and all the appliances and wall tiling. Darren was available to speak to at any time for updates and queries from the start to the finish of the work. The kitchen now finished looks amazing and we are so pleased with it.

Darren has done quite a lot of work in my flat and my mother’s house over the past few years, from fitting shelves in cupboards to putting up curtains, and we have always been very happy with the great service and fine workmanship.

I was truly happy with the total conversion of my bathroom. He removed all old tiles and units. He also advised me about water proofing boards. Installed them and fitted all floor and wall tiles, installed all units and fixtures including pump for shower. Style of tiling and the finish to my bathroom gave it a modern 5* look.  Excellent workmanship, comes highly recommended.

We have recently moved to Milton Keynes and Cutting Edge was referred by various people so we asked them in for a quote for a garage conversion to extend our kitchen as well as lay flooring in our bathrooms.

They were professional and friendly but more importantly for us at the time, they were extremely reasonably priced and very helpful when it came to suggesting alternative options to better our home. They brought a different vision or view and it was greatly valued.

They transformed our house into a home. Darren managed the entire process for us from brick layers to plumbers and electricians etc.  He followed the necessary plans for the conversion, broke down and rebuilt walls with all the necessary structural support, as well as fitted the entire kitchen from top to bottom.

We particularly valued his honesty when it came to getting certain fittings cheaper. He was also fantastic with keeping us up to date with costs and timelines throughout the process.

The attention to detail is spot on and he went beyond what is required to achieve the perfection we envisaged. 

We have since recommended Cutting Edge to various people and wish the company every success in the future. It has been an absolute pleasure watching them transform our home and we will be sure to keep a stash of chocolates and coffee for the next bit of home improvements they will do for us.
